Radivisiography has an advantage of causing minimal radiation exposure to the patient and numerous possibilities to process the images, over classic radiography. The ‘Radio’ component is the conventional X-ray generator with a timer, capable of very short exposure, along with the image receptor. The ‘vision’ portion converts the output signal from a CCD to a digital format and displays it on a monitor. The ‘graph’ component consists of a data storage unit connected to a video printer.
